What is the United Art and Education Retail Reward Card program?
The United Art and Education Retail Reward Card program is our way of thanking you for shopping at a United Art and Education retail store. We give you 5 points for every eligible dollar spent. For every 500 points you'll receive a $5.00 Retail Reward Certificate.
How does the card work?
When you're ready to check out at our store, simply present your United Art and Education Reward Card. If you don't have your card, our associates can quickly look up your number with your name, email address or registered phone number.
How do I get a Reward Card?
Just ask any clerk at our retail stores. Each Reward Card must be linked to a unique email address. You may also choose to register a phone number to provide easy look-up when your card is not present.
How much does a card cost?
Membership in the Program is absolutely free and no initial purchase is required. You just need an email address.
Why do I need an email address?
Once you enroll you will receive your Rewards via email.
Can I use my card online or for mail order purchases?
The United Art and Education Reward Card can only be used at our retail stores. Online or mail order purchases do not qualify for points. You may, however, choose to spend your Reward online. Simply enter the Reward number into the Gift Card field at checkout.
How soon can I start getting rewards?
Immediate sign-up and use is available during retail transactions. Once you sign up at the store you'll receive an email asking that you verify your registration online; but, you start earning points immediately.
Why do I need to verify my registration online?
Once you've verified your account, you can view your transactions and point balance on our website. Please note that transactions and updated balances will not appear on the website until the next day after you visit the store. You must use the email address that was given at the retail store. If you do not receive an email confirming your enrollment within a day after receiving your card at the store, please call our customer service department at 1-800-322-3247
How do I change my contact information?
If something has changed since you verified your registration, log in to your account at www.UnitedArtAndEducation.com/rewards. Then go to "Update My Information" to add or update your mailing address, phone number, or email address.
What if I forget to use my Reward Card during a purchase?
It's easy to claim your missed points once you've registered your card. If you forget to use your Reward Card while you were at the store, you may use your receipt to go online to register the transaction and earn points. You must wait 24 hours, but not longer than 60 days, to be able to register the transaction.
How do I track my points?
Once you've registered your card you'll be able to view all of your transactions and points balance. Retail transactions will be viewable one day after the purchase.
How do I redeem points?
Rewards will be emailed to you once you have 500 or more points. After clicking on the link in the email to create your personal Retail Reward Certificate, it can be used at our stores just like a regular gift card. Be sure to bring in the Reward Certificate or present it to the cashier by showing it on your phone.
Your points will be reduced when the Reward Certificate is emailed. The Reward must be used within 60 days of the day the email was sent or it will expire.
Can I redeem points for cash?
Points cannot be redeemed for cash. You cannot apply points to pay down the balance on a United Art and Education open account. Points cannot be used to purchase United Art and Education gift cards.
Do my points expire?
Points never expire before they become Rewards. If you do not use your card for 24 consecutive months your membership may be designated as inactive and all points may be forfeited. We reserve the right to convert your points to the appropriate Retail Reward Certificate amount if we choose to terminate or change the Reward Card program.
What transactions do not qualify for Reward Card points?
Purchases over $500 automatically receive a 10% volume discount. No Reward points are awarded for these sales.
Points are only awarded for merchandise paid for with cash, personal credit card or personal check at our retail stores. Open account purchases do not qualify for Reward points. Purchases paid for with organization/business checks or credit cards do not qualify for Reward points. Transactions using the United Art and Education account number of an organization or business are not eligible for Reward points no matter how the purchase is tendered. Purchases made online or through our catalog do not qualify.
No Reward points are awarded for merchandise paid for with a United Art and Education gift card or gift certificate. However, Reward points are awarded for purchasing gift cards.
Sales tax paid does not qualify for Reward points.
What happens to my points if I return an item?
Points will be deducted from your balance if items are returned.
Can my organization get a Reward Card?
Program membership is only available to individuals. Program membership is not available to corporations, businesses, or any other organization.
Can I share my Reward Card with a family or friend?
No, your Reward Card points are individual and non-transferable.
What if I lose my card?
Lost cards can be replaced at our retail stores. We may require identification to ensure that your points are safely transferred from your old number to the new one. If you get a new card, you must make certain you destroy your old card should you find it later.
Will my membership information be shared with other companies?
Who is eligible for the Retail Reward program?
Membership is open to U.S. residents who are at least 13 years of age. If you are between 13 and 18 you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian before signing up for the program. United Art and Education associates and their immediate family/household members are not eligible for the Reward Card program.
